noun, The study of brands and the process of branding -- especially the study of how a given brand evolves over time in response to cultural and market-based influences. The term is also used to describe the unique progression a given brand takes over time.

  1. I think this is a great way of defining how a branding is related to the subject of anthropology and its relation to the study of how brands evolve over time. Because of the evolutionary study of brands we are able to see its relation to the changing of our times

  5. With the concept and help of Brandthropology, more companies should be able understand and to live up to their brand promise to their customers. Resulting in less "apologies" for NOT delivering on their brand values.

  7. I love it!I think it could replace the word "Brand" because brands do need to evolve. Even the tried and true move with the times. Matt takes a brand from Neanderthal to Homo Sapien.
